NFPA 79
When you build Machinery which has to be sold/used in the US, you have to use the NFPA 79:2015
as standard for electrical installations in machinery.
The NFPA 79:2015 and the EN IEC 60204-1:2006 have the same function, electrical safety in Machinery.
To comply with the regulations in te US you have to follow the NFPA 79 to the letter.
Here you can find an Excel file in which all the tables of the NFPA 79:2015 are collected.
This does not mean that you don't have to buy the NFPA 79 any more.
You still need the original document. You can buy the NFPA 79:2015 at the NFPA site

As in the EN IEC 60204-1 there is an inquiry form for the electrical Equipment of Machines.
It gives you information about the requirements from your costumer and the local authoreties.
